Former FEC Chairman Trevor Potter presents Follow the Money: Courts, Corruption, and the Future of American Elections

On April 21, 2016, Campaign Legal Center President and former FEC Chairman Trevor Potter delivered the address at the 16th Annual Goldstone Forum at the University of Pennsylvania. His remarks, titled "Follow the Money: Courts, Corruption, and the Future of American Elections" discussed how three decades of shifting Supreme Court precedent on campaign finance, along with gridlock and dysfunction in Congress and regulative agencies, has led to an unprecedented explosion of the role played by wealthy special interests in the 2016 elections.
