Camilla Valente is a junior from Washington DC, originally from Italy. Alongside her PPE major, she is pursuing minors in Economics and East Asian Languages and Civilizations, with a target language of Chinese. Her areas of interest are international development, Chinese geopolitics, and emerging markets. Apart from the PPE UAB, she also is part of Penn for Refugee Empowerment, Wharton Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Consulting, and iDev. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and exploring new restaurants in the Philadelphia area.
