Research Interests:

My research interests are in the areas of behavioral and experimental economics. In particular, my work focuses on decision making related to social preferences and demand for information about others’ economic behavior and outcome—“social curiosity”— in social dilemmas, both theoretically and empirically. Motivated by my experiences in China, Russia,  Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, the US, and the Arctic Region,  I continue to develop methodology that allows me to apply experimental economics for the foundation of a healthy market economy, and that reveal social norms of cooperation within and among societies.
